Protocol Education have a fantastic opportunity for a psychology graduate to join our team of SEND support staff.

The successful psychology graduate will provide 1:1 and small group support or children with SEND. They will work in one of our client schools in Sunderland and South Tyneside providing in class support to children aged This a full time role (Monday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need support within the classroom.
  • Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team
  • Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 11 and small groups
  • Planning and resourcing intervention sessions
  • Working alongside other professionals to assess children
  • Supporting children pastorally to enable them to feel safe and secure both at school and at home.


This is a perfect opportunity for any aspiring educational psychologist or teacher who is wanting to gain experience of working with children and SEND while being paid.
