About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team at Together for Children Sunderland. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional well-being of children and young people in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions to support children and young people's educational and emotional needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support the educational and emotional well-being of children and young people.
Requirements
  • Hold a Post Graduate Degree in Educational Psychology and hold (or are working towards completion) a post-graduated qualification in Education Psychology.
  • Have a strong understanding of child development and the impact of psychological factors on educational outcomes.
  • Be able to work effectively with children, young people, and their families, as well as with teachers and other professionals.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
