We are looking for an assistant Stock Controller to join our Stores team at our Plymouth Hospital.

About the role


Working Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, You will be responsible for assisting with the supervision of stock control and ordering goods and services while operating in line with in compliance in our
_Stores policies, and procedures_.


The role holder will be responsible for Checking and supplying outlying stock areas in Theatre, Ward & OPD, Picking Theatre Procedure Kits, Assist with the booking in and control of stock supply in the stores area, Assist with monthly stock taking and On occasions assist Theatre with the movement of patients to ward.


What you'll be doing:

Who we are looking for
Someone to ensure and assist in the continual supply of goods and services as required in the Practice plus group stores policy & matrix and local SOPs and also

  • An understanding of COSHH, Infection Control, and Health and Safety
  • Knowledge of store Procedures & Local Standard Operating Procedures
  • Experience working in a stores environment
  • Flexible to working arrangements
  • Adaptable, friendly, polite, courteous and caring
