We are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our existing design and digital print studio team.

Firpress are the only quality assured printer in West Cumbria, providing quality print, design & large format signage services for almost 40 years.


You will be required to keep track and meet all hard deadlines, making sure your work is completed on time for customers and to the highest quality.


Following design amends and print preparation checks, the role will also include the production of daily digital and large format print.

Your projects will include:

Amendments and updates to existing designs, posters, brochures, business stationery, menus, leaflets, banners, exhibition displays, signage, logo design, digital print and large format production and much much more

Essential Skills

  • Working experience of the Adobe CC Suite in particular the InDesign software
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing directly with customers.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise design and print duties and work to tight deadlines.

Desirable skills / attributes

  • Formal qualification ideally in Graphic Design
  • Working experience of the Adobe CC Suite including Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • A passion for design.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of design working for litho, digital and large format printing.
  • Ability to promote/showcase recent works on social media platforms.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
Up to £25,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • No weekends

All customers are required to wear a mask, negative lateral flow would be required on or prior to interview, all areas regularly cleaned - work areas spaced out as necessary
