Working with a well-established engineering company who are now on the lookout for a Design Engineer to join their ever-growing team based in Wotton-under-Edge.

Key Responsibilities – Design Engineer
Maintain all standards of Health and Safety Rules of the Company.
Work within the company's ISO9001:2015 system.
Maintain good standards in the work place, keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
Operate and use office machines as authorised in accordance with manufacturers' operating instructions.
Attend meetings and training as required. This may include visiting customers' sites to carry out design duties.
Solidworks – design of new products & components, jigs fixtures and related materiel as directed by the DO Manager
Paracad – to maintain historic records on the Paracad system.
DAR – maintain & control the change record system.
General office duties as required or directed including help with answering the phones in the sales office.
Qualifications & Experience – Design Engineer
Experience as a Design Engineer within an Engineering/Workshop environment
Design qualification desirable
Experience with working with AutodCAD 2D & 3D
