Renishaw's Encoder Products Division (EPD) is seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our team of talented engineers, scientists, and technicians. As a key member of our multi-disciplined team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge position feedback technology for the world's precision measurement, automation, and manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers and product managers to deliver designs that meet product specifications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize the interaction between electronic, mechanical, and software components in all designs.
  • Assist in the delivery of designs that meet targets for product performance, quality, cost, and timescale.
  • Develop innovative processes and design solutions that can be patented by the company.
Requirements:
  • Degree in electronic engineering, physics, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of VHDL and experience with Intel (Altera) FPGAs.
  • Expertise in electronic design, including high-speed, low-power circuits, and electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience with Altium, CR5000, or other ECAD system tools.
