Opportunity
As an apprentice on the project management programme, you'll get to work in our education team whilst also studying for a degree at Aston Business School, Aston University.
You'll also attend university (mostly online, with travel to Aston University three times per year) studying towards a degree:
BSc project Management.
Through the combination of work and study, you will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours you need in order to thrive as a project manager.
Salary
You'll be paid a highly competitive salary from day one, including access to a range of extra Star benefits for you to enjoy as part of our flexible benefits package.
As part of this degree apprenticeship, your tuition fees are fully funded for the degree programme and you can enjoy the perks of receiving a monthly salary.
Support
You'll be supported by Star and the university throughout the apprenticeship programme and beyond, with a Star mentor, a University Academic Studies Advisor and of course your peer apprentices.

Who we're looking for
This will be a 3.5 year apprenticeship
We are seeking to recruit and develop ambitious an enthusiastic apprentice project manager who will relish working in a supportive business environment while studying for a degree from a prestigious university.
As a degree apprentice, you will work at the Star Central office in Blackburn, where you will learn the skills of project management and put them into practice.
You will attend fortnightly activity-led online webinars, complete self-study and participate in two on-campus study days three times per year at Aston University in Birmingham.
You will have:
- Minimum of five GCSE qualifications at grade 5/C or above, including English and mathematics.
You must have left full time education by the time the apprenticeship starts and been resident in the UK for at least three years.
