White Gold Cornwall works with children, young people, and adults across the whole of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly providing 1:1 mentoring to help them navigate life's challenges.

We aim to support, guide and, if appropriate, challenge young people who:

  • Are vulnerable or at risk
  • Present unacceptable or challenging behavior
  • Are excluded from, or failing to engage in, education
  • Lack of confidence, selfesteem, and/or social skills
  • Are involved, or at risk of becoming involved, with the Criminal Justice System
We are looking for

paid Mentor sessional workers in West Cornwall (especially Penzance, Camborne, Redruth, Falmouth, Truro, and Newquay) for a few hours or more a week to engage informally with children and young people (e.g. a country walk, coffee and chat, sharing hobbies, visiting local museums, swimming, sports, etc )

You would undergo an induction program training and be insured by us to work safely with young people.


As well as your own transport, the most important qualities needed are patience, a sense of humor, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable children and young people in a non-judgemental mentoring role.
