Job Description:

We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our team as a Children's Support Worker at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will be working with a 10-year-old child with complex health needs in their family home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to the child, including bathing, dressing, and administering medication
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Engage in activities with the child, such as reading, singing, and playing
  • Support the child's communication and mood management
  • Accompany the child and their family on outings and activities

Requirements:

  • Interest in childcare and working with children with disabilities
  • Kind and caring nature
