My client is a largely successful global company specializing in the telecommunications and power industries through the manufacturing of pre-connectorized, blown fibre cabling and ducted network solutions.

They are looking to hire a

Business Development Manager based in the South of England

to grow the business by gaining new clients as well as managing and maximising potential of current clients.

This client offers a competitive salary for this position accompanied by an excellent benefits package including 33 days annual leave, a generous car allowance, excellent pension scheme, bonus scheme of up to 30% as well as private healthcare for yourself, partner, and any other dependents.


Job Responsibilities:

nDeliver budgeted sales and product margins set at beginning of year.nFocus and grow sales in the Power sector.nIntroduce and sell new products as introduced.nAcquire new clients and increase the customer base year on year.nManage existing accounts and implement a strategy to achieve the maximum business potential for each account.nEstablish and maintain customer relationships and accounts, with a focus on maximising and realising sales target.nIdentify and target new business opportunities with pro-active research and development to promote the business portfolio of industry leading solutions and services.nDevelop and support all accounts by providing an exceptional customer service attitude and creating a culture to maintain business loyalty.nProduce effective and useful Sales reports.nCollaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns promoting the business across a range of platforms including social media.nForecasting and business planning.


Experience Required:

nStrong experience in business development and key account management.nExcellent sales, communication, and problem-solving skills.nPrevious experience working with Cables /ductingnAbility to understand financial data.nStrong communication and influencing skills.nProven track record in effectively managing a simultaneous range of diverse activities.nAbility and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.nFull driver's License.nSelf- starter with good inter-personal & negotiation skills.nExcellent time management.
