Part time office and school based role.


You will be a creative and resilient person, joining our dynamic and ambitious team preparing and delivering various projects in school, sharing your energy and encouragement with young people.

Your duties will often be flexible to meet the needs and priorities of the week, however your normal responsibilities will include:

  • Planning projects from the ground up
  • Cocreating project concepts with the wider Soulscape team and developing engaging materials that can be used by the team in schools.
  • Writing project briefs to align teams and engage the right people
  • Developing a clear "project plan" that has a strategic outline and detailed steps for delivery of the overarching project concept, including budgets
  • Facilitate live projects as the key point of contact and responsible person on the day
  • Planning the logistics associated with the project and booking events by coordinating with the Soulscape administrative team
  • Identifying training needs and assisting with the training of volunteers and key personnel.
  • Liaise with various school representatives in order to carry out all of the above

Responsibilities:


Soulscape is a Berkshire charity that supports children and young people's emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing by creating space to explore life.


  • Relevant experience in working with children and young people
  • Knowledge of issues that children and young people face and the impact of these issues on their wellbeing
  • Be passionate about young people and have a desire to work closely with them
  • Be able to engage with young people in a creative, enthusiastic way
  • Experience of planning, delivery and evaluating projects for and with children and young people
  • Excellent presentation and facilitations skills in order to deliver projects in schools; presenting and communicating with individuals, small groups or large audiences; usually teenagers, school staff and parents
  • Be organized and able to use Microsoft 36
  • Able to take initiative, work independently and be a team player
  • A flexible approach
  • A communicator
  • A problem solver with a cando attitude and a sense of humour
  • UK driving license and access to a vehicle

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
£11.00 per hour
