Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Rights of Way Team Leader to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our Community, Heritage, Blue and Green Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the achievement of key priorities and making a real difference to the preservation and enhancement of the area, particularly as it relates to PRoWs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a team of direct reports in the management and maintenance of existing PRoWs
  • Lead on the DMMO process and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver PRoW consultations
  • Provide specialist planning advice and negotiate associated develop contributions
  • Develop and implement Capital PRoW projects and engage with stakeholders to respond to changing demands and priorities
  • Identify and develop opportunities to improve the rights of way network across the Borough
Requirements
  • Sound experience within Public Rights of Way
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Project management experience
  • Confident communicator and negotiator
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the PRoW DMMO process
