Opportunity: Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Christchurch. This role involves close collaboration with both inbound and outbound Logistics Coordinators, alongside global Supply Chain teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

You should currently be working in a similar fast-paced logistics role, ideally with international logistics experience and a diverse skill set. This position has a hybrid nature, requiring you to be present in our Christchurch, Dorset office at least 3 days a week, so living nearby is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating across various logistics functions to meet business requirements
  • Supporting inbound logistics, including the ocean freight booking process from suppliers in Asia and Europe
  • Managing and processing shipping documentation, tracking shipments, and handling goods receipt
  • Handling customer sales orders and delivery documentation to facilitate outbound goods flow from the warehouse
  • Requesting samples from the warehouse
  • Managing stock movements within the SAP database
  • Ensuring ongoing accuracy of SAP stock and investigating any discrepancies
  • Reporting on perpetual inventory results, stock variations, and damaged stock on a weekly basis

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, such as imports, sales administration, inventory management, warehousing, or distribution
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining precise stock records with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Remaining composed, proactive, and supportive in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is beneficial
  • Effective time management and exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
