Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our sales team at Christchurch Harbour Hotel. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for handling event inquiries, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless execution of events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle event inquiries and respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event vision and preferences
  • Develop and implement event concepts and themes
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful event execution
  • Manage event budgets and ensure financial accuracy
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in event planning or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
