We are pleased, due to the success of one of our team, to be able to put out an internal advert for a secondment opportunity with the Quality Improvement team at Dorset Healthcare.


To be successful at interview for this 12 month secondment you will have participated or led quality improvement initiatives, understand the role of facilitation and how to support staff teams to continue to make the care we give better every day.

You will be confident to hold your own workplan of projects and have excellent communication and team player skills We will support you to further develop your understanding of QI and understanding of the vision and values of the team.


The post holder will lead and support a range of activities within the Quality Improvement programme, working with the team, Lead for Innovation and Research Head of Quality Improvement and a range of internal and external partners.


The post holder will have skills, knowledge and experience of using Quality Improvement methodologies and enablers, in particular the Model of Improvement approach.

The post holder will need to be agent/s for change and model the behaviours essential to developing a culture of continuous improvement and learning across the Trust

The post holder will have an understanding of both the clinical implications of proposed changes resulting from QI projects and the impact such changes might trigger across other parts of the system
