Quality Engineer Job Description

Mploy Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client's quality team in Poole. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in championing both product and process quality at an operational level, supporting the achievement of company objectives and targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality support within the manufacturing facility to achieve quality objectives and reduce the cost of poor quality.
  • Take a hands-on approach to technical resolution in all instances of non-conformance.
  • Facilitate the successful completion of the internal auditing program.
  • Ensure that ISO 9001 requirements are understood and adhered to across the business.
  • Promote a quality awareness culture throughout the business.
  • Drive supplier quality improvement activities.
  • Participate in key NPI projects, ensuring quality conformance.
  • Support the quality inspection team in analyzing quality inspection data and reviewing the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions.
  • Coordinate the completion of PPAP within the business.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and reporting activities.
Requirements:
  • A degree, HNC, or NVQ in a quality-related field.
  • Proven experience in quality engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for quality and a commitment to producing top-quality work.
