We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Poole. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in championing product and process quality at an operational level, supporting the achievement of company objectives and targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide quality support within the manufacturing facility to achieve quality objectives and reduce the cost of poor quality.
- Develop and implement effective quality control processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Collaborate with the quality inspection team to analyze quality inspection data and review the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and reporting activities to identify and address quality issues.
- Drive supplier quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in key NPI projects to ensure quality conformance.
- Support the development and implementation of quality awareness programs to promote a culture of quality excellence.
- Degree or higher in a quality-related field or relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of investigative techniques, including internal auditing, 8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys, and Lean measurement tools.
- Knowledge of APQP project processes, including DFMEA, PFMEA, quality control plans, and process flow mapping.
- Knowledge of supplier-related quality practices and processes, including PPAP, ISIR, and supplier quality assessments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 6 months or more of relevant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Computer and Microsoft software literacy.
- Full driving license.
