Quality Engineer for Composite Manufacturing

Norco Composites, a leading UK-based composite manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our composite manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Lead the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and coordinate quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and customers to ensure quality planning, customer requirements, and manufacturing issues are managed in line with QA procedures
  • Embed quality control requirements with build documentation and review customer quality requirements
  • Conduct product inspections and quality sign-offs, and prepare manufacturing quality packs
  • Monitor and gather production/quality process data for reporting
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of practical experience in composite component manufacture and assembly
  • Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Ability to use industry-standard inspection measurement equipment
  • Health and safety training (IOSH/NEBOSH)
  • 5's/lean training
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
