About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Project Engineer with a passion for composite materials and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Project coordination, including estimating, commercial responsibility, and account management.
  2. Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
  3. Collaborate with the quality team to implement best practices and improve process efficiency.
  4. Work closely with suppliers to negotiate variations to contracts and manage delivery timelines.
  5. Develop and maintain full knowledge of relevant technical and quality areas, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  6. Negotiate and agree on contract variations with customers.
  7. Provide support to the accounts department with invoicing and chasing overdue payments.
  8. Candidates with experience designing in Siemens NX or Solidworks will have a significant advantage.
  9. This role may involve occasional UK and overseas travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience working with composite and GRP materials and manufacturing processes.

Salary and Benefits
