Job Summary

Sunseeker International is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join its team in Poole. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured by the company's suppliers meet and exceed the quality expectations of the company and its customers.

The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer will play a key role in a cross-functional team environment, working closely with procurement, quality, and design teams to ensure that suppliers meet the company's quality standards. The role will also involve regular on-site visits to suppliers, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to address any quality issues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform regular on-site supplier visits to monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to the business.
  2. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  3. Review supplier data and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers to implement process improvements and value enhancement opportunities.
  5. Support and lead continuous improvement activities at the supplier to reduce waste and decrease cycle times.
  6. Assist in supplier evaluations and product audits to ensure compliance with quality systems and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
  1. Relevant manufacturing or engineering degree, or equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience in quality and supplier quality assurance.
  3. Good understanding and interpretation of mechanical engineering drawings and GRP construction drawings.
  4. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
