TBC Main Responsibilities

The individual in this role will facilitate the establishment of effective systems to gather, monitor, review, and learn from patient safety occurrences.

They will assist in the execution of the Trust PSIRF Plan and guide staff towards available support tools and resources.

The post holder will support the implementation of the Trust's Patient Safety Strategy.

Additionally, they may be called upon to assist with local quality patient safety initiatives and improvement projects when a Patient Safety Investigator determines that the enhancement pertains to local systems rather than a Trust-wide action.

The post holder will compile, monitor, and assist in the closure of learning actions and improvement plans resulting from patient safety investigations.

They will produce high-quality reports at various levels across the organization for groups, committees, and individual safety initiatives.

The post holder will work effectively under the guidance of the Patient Safety Facilitator to ensure that high performance standards are upheld.
