Join Scotland's leading charity dedicated to assisting individuals with chest, heart, stroke, and long covid conditions in regaining a fulfilling life. Our Community Healthcare Support Service model establishes a network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers, and one-to-one support teams to aid families in adapting to life post-heart or lung conditions, long covid, or stroke.

To advance our ambitious NLHL strategy, CHSS is seeking a Head of Professional Engagement to oversee the operational delivery of all educational and health information services for healthcare professionals and service users countrywide.

This pivotal position involves crafting and implementing a professional engagement strategy, developing a comprehensive CHSS program for the continuous professional development of healthcare professionals serving individuals with our conditions, and launching a new CHSS Learning Management System.

We are searching for a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the health and social care landscape and the changing educational requirements of healthcare professionals operating within these settings. The ideal candidate will possess experience in educational and/or health information services and the capacity to lead a team in providing an educational program that meets the needs and expectations of healthcare professionals, ultimately enhancing the broader health and social care systems in which we function.
