M2 Education are working on behalf of a school in the Workington area.

We require a full time Teaching Assistant to work in a busy Year 5/6 class.

The role is to start work with them September 2023.


Experience of supporting teaching and learning in a primary school, including working with pupils who have learning difficulties, would be desirable but not essential.


The requirements for this role are:

  • GCSE English & Maths
  • Preferably qualified to an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children
  • Understanding of classroom procedures and policies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
