Job Summary:
GEN2 is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our team at Mayport Church of England Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher in delivering high-quality education to our students.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the teacher in implementing planned learning activities and teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil responses.
* Support the teacher in monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress and behaviour, contributing to the planning and evaluation of learning activities.
* Provide feedback to pupils on their attainment and progress, under the guidance of the teacher.
* Support learning by arranging and providing resources for lessons and activities, under the direction of the teacher.
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and physical wellbeing, reporting concerns to the appropriate person.
* Be aware of and comply with all school policies and procedures, including code of conduct, child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection.
* Encourage independent learning and promote inclusion of all pupils in and outside of the classroom.
* Escort and supervise pupils on educational visits and out-of-school activities.
* Share information about pupils with other staff, parents, and carers, as appropriate.
* Use initiative to deal with issues that arise and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
Requirements:
* Maths and English GCSE or equivalent Grade C/4 or above.
