Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide support to a Year 4 pupil with additional needs in a local Primary school.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, and experience working with children with SEN. They will be able to create strong relationships with students and staff, and have a clear understanding of special educational needs such as ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery
- Support pupils with behaviour issues and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
- Help to create a safe and supportive learning environment
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clear understanding of special educational needs
