Service Development Manager

The Company
Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit are currently recruiting for a Service Development Manager for a health and social care charity based in Pontefract.
The Role
This is a full time, permanent role, based on site between Pontefract and Rotherham.
Within this role you will lead on the development and initiatives for the charities welfare service, in order to meet the needs of those it supports.
As well as this you will:
- Develop service models, and practice to underpin new areas of delivery for the charities centre
- Look to develop, and manage within budgets for both the Centre in Pontefract, as well as any new initiatives you want to explore
- Develop strong relationships with both local authorities, Social Workers, and any external agencies
- Communicate with the wider staff team to identify gaps in services and the potential to broaden the services on offer
- Report on the service revenue performance, whilst reporting this to the Chief Executive Officer
You will also possess:
- Experience of implementing new systems and processes whilst facilitating change within a social care environment
- Experience of managing budgets
- A strong understanding of service development and design within a social care setting
- Ideally educated to degree level with social care, or similar
- Experience of managing a team within a health and social care setting
- An appreciation of the clients you support, particularly elderly people
- A driver's license and access to a vehicle
The Benefits
This role paying a salary of £45,400, and offers a number of other benefits, such as generous pension contributions, opportunities of private healthcare, onsite parking as well as several others.
