About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Dove Adolescent Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our young people and contributing to the delivery of high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the smooth operation of the home and the well-being of our young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that the needs of our young people are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Work closely with the team to provide a safe and supportive environment, promoting the emotional resilience and well-being of our young people.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the values and principles of Dove Adolescent Services.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a residential children's services setting, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by young people in care.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver high-quality care.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, as required.
