This position is based within our Tastepoint business situated in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparation of laboratory scale samples of seasonings, glazes and other flavour delivery systems.

• Replenishment of laboratory raw materials and sundries

• Sample Packing and dispatch

• Upkeep of electronic laboratory records

• General Laboratory Housekeeping

Required Experience:

• A minimum of 3 GCSEs grade 4 or above, including Maths & English

• A relevant qualification in a scientific/food related area at further education level, degree or similar (desirable but not essential)

• Foundation training or qualification in Food Hygiene (desirable but not essential as full training will be given)

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Able to work as part of a team

• Good organisational skills

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Good general IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience in a laboratory environment and a keen interest in food is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
