Joining a close-knit team under the supervision of the People & Culture Manager, this role centers on Employee Relations. You will offer top-notch generalist HR advice, guidance, coaching, and support across all people-related affairs.
With the company expansion, it has become evident that some managers require more guidance on handling people-related issues effectively to lead their teams to success, maintaining a uniform and high-performing environment.
Main responsibilities include:
- Absence management to ensure timely intervention with Occupational Health, and proactive handling of sickness cases, with thorough documentation of all meetings
- Providing coaching to managers on conducting challenging discussions
- Guiding managers in comprehending HR policies and procedures, enhancing their proficiency in managing people-related situations consistently
- Performance management
- Dealing with disciplinary and grievance matters
- Assisting in business reorganizations, consultations, contract modifications, etc.
- Establishing strong, proactive relationships with managers throughout the organization
- Regularly updating and reviewing HR Policies to align with legislative changes, ensuring clear documentation easily understood by colleagues and managers
- Contributing to training content design and delivery utilizing your employee relations expertise
- Generating weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on essential HR Metrics
Required skills, experience, and qualifications:
- CIPD Level 5 certification or currently pursuing
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex and diverse ER cases
- Ability to engage with managers across all organizational levels confidently
