About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented People Insights & Systems Advisor to join our HR Management Information (HRMI) team at the University of Bath. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and providing insights from data to support operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and provide insights from data to various stakeholders, using people data from our HR system (iTrent), Workload Allocation Management System (WAMS), reporting tools (business objects), and other sources.
  • Deliver statutory reports, management information, and present data analyses to support decision-making.
  • Manage specific projects and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to system users and assist with system updates of iTrent and WAMS.
Requirements
  • Experience in using Excel to manipulate data.
  • Excellent IT skills, including strong Excel proficiency.
  • Experience in manipulating and presenting large datasets.
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time position, working 21.9 hours per week, with flexibility to work across a 3, 4, or 5-day work pattern.
