About the role


This role is fundamental in delivering the Value-Added Solutions (VAS) Strategy for the EMEA region by developing strategic and operational relationships with 3rd party procurement platforms such as SAPAriba, Coupa, Ivalua etc.


It is integral to VAS performance around our digital procurement solutions and the role holder will be accountability for developing account plans for these partners that successfully drive the profitable growth of these channel partners across EMEA markets.


Critical to this is supporting the VP for Value Added Solutions across the EMEA region to secure buy-in and alignment across EMEA markets and functions to drive and support growth in these channel partners by effectively engaging key market stakeholders, along with an excellent understanding of the commercial landscape.


This role is a key enabler in achieving our growth targets as part of our journey to greatness strategy to help realise our growth ambition for 2025.


Developing, leading, and delivering robust partner account plans for these important partners will provide a significant area of potential growth across all the EMEA markets and is therefore of significant strategic importance.


Key accountabilities:
Driving sustainable growth through RS eProcurement solutions through indirect digital channels by ensuring that RS strategy & resources are aligned to driving mutually beneficial business benefits with third party procurement platforms, marketplaces and other digital channel providers

Ensuring RS relationships with these platforms are well managed and coordinated across the EMEA region to support mutually beneficial business outcomes.

Developing existing business relationships, seeking new opportunities, and creating executive level relationships to align RS strategic business development plans to ensure profitable revenue growth and close alignment with our partner's own product vision and roadmap
Increasing sustainable long-term revenue and margin growth for RS by ensuring that our commercial agreements, technology roadmap and implementation approach is aligned to an RS strategy for third party platforms and consistent across the EMEA region as well as aligned with both RS APAC and RS Americas
The role requires strong leadership and customer relationship skills in order to succeed in a matrix environment

Ability to develop and maintain broad and deep external relations with third party platforms and channels and be knowledgeable of their propositions, markets, business challenges and customer success opportunities.

Expand the stakeholder network within third party platforms to allow RS to continuously evolve its value proposition and identify mutually beneficial opportunities for the creation of joint value propositions or growth initiatives.

Ensure third party channels are up to date with RS capabilities and feedback to the RS Digital and Commercial leadership team on identified opportunities and threats to RS business growth based on market & technology developments driving actions to ensure that RS remains relevant in a rapidly evolving market arena.

Produce high-quality leads for the EMEA sales team through constant engagement with third party platforms and co-ordinate with internal resources to mobilise sales and implementation teams.

Work cross-functionally with the EMEA Product Manager for eProcurement, digital product owners, UX teams, agile development teams, customers, and the sales and marketing team to ensure our procurement solutions and broader digital roadmap aligns with the requirements and market developments taking place.

What we're looking for

You will have strong business development, product management, strategic partner account management and entrepreneurial skills.
A strong and proven leader with a track record of virtual team leadership as well as cross functional management experience in a matrix organisation on a pan European basis
Impactful communicator, able to work across a range of ideas across written, presentation and verbal forms. Proven ability to communicate with senior executives
Commercially savvy - very comfortable with numbers and data driven decision making
Ability to impact and influence in a global matrix organisation
Self-motivated, flexible and organised. Demonstrates the ability to prioritise workloads, multi-task and act on own initiative
Good negotiation and influencing skills
Forms positive relationships, strives for high performance and is focussed on their own personal development
Educated to degree level in business studies, IT or relevant discipline
