The Fairmount scheme in Bradford are looking for a full time Housing Support Worker to lead and coordinate meaningful activities in the service as a whole and also on a one to one basis.

To help people recognise and achieve their best outcomes in life.

You will lead involvement of activities in the service, for example cooking, gardening, baking etc. alongside your team. These activities will support and enhance people's social and personal development skills to help integration within the community.

You will encourage support and work together to assist people with their confidence to enable them to make positive decisions.

You will assist people in the practical and emotional aspects of maintaining their accommodation giving them tenancy ready skills and liaising with other support services.

You will ensure immediate needs are met, such as access to welfare benefits, food, clothes and health care services.


You will have experience of working with people who may be experiencing a range of circumstances such as homelessness, ill health, poor mental health, drugs and/or alcohol challenges.

You will have worked in supportive role and have experience of organising and supporting people and look to build solid relationships by listening and delivering reflective practise whilst also being patient and non-judgemental.


We offer agile and flexible working options, 35 hours a week, salary £24,652.00 per annum you may be required to work some bank holidays.
