Weekend Restaurant Assistant

Our Downtown Garden Centre Restaurant has for many years offered our customers quality food and beverages and a well-earned rest from their shopping.


To help play a part in the day-to-day operation of the team, we have an opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working Restaurant Assistant to join the team at weekends.


As a Restaurant Assistant you will offer exemplary service to our customers in the delivery of meals and refreshments to their tables and will also assist with basic food preparation, till work, stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties.


Ideally, you will already have the relevant skills and qualifications, having previously worked in a similar catering environment, however this is not essential.

You should be an effective communicator, prioritise tasks efficiently and be able to demonstrate good customer service skills.

You will be working on Saturdays or Sundays, with hours usually between 10am and 4pm.

A flexible approach to working days and times is required and you should be available to work varying days and additional hours if required.
