Job Purpose:
General Handy-person
Hillside Animal Sanctuary is looking for a General Handy-person to assist our area sanctuary co-coordinator covering multiple sites across the organisation.
The role will require the ability to work on an individual basis but also as part of a team in support of other sanctuary teams when needed.
The job holder will also be required to conduct a number of varied maintenance tasks while ensuring that all tasks are carried out in the most cost effective manner.
The role requires the ability to be flexible in your daily working routine.
Knowledge of safe working practices and the consideration of best practice and methods of work is essential as well as a full drivers licence.
Responsibilities will include
- Completing routine maintenance
- Fencing
- Painting
- Undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks.
- Grounds keeping
- Waste removal
Job Types:
