We are seeking a reliable and flexible Personal Assistant to provide support to a lady in Hainford, Norfolk. The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, up to 5 hours per week, and will be responsible for assisting with general domestic tasks, meal preparation, and accompanying the lady to occasional appointments.
Job PurposeThe purpose of this role is to provide flexible support to a lady with various health issues, enabling her to maintain her independence and quality of life. The successful candidate will work closely with the lady and her main carer to ensure that her needs are met and that she receives the support she requires.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with general domestic tasks, including meal preparation and cleaning
- Accompany the lady to occasional appointments
- Provide support with personal care and daily living tasks
- Assist with managing the lady's schedule and appointments
- Basic cooking skills
- Ability to work flexibly and independently
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
The successful candidate will work up to 5 hours per week, on a flexible basis, to cover when the main PA is on leave or unable to work. The working hours will be discussed and agreed with the lady and her main carer.
Pay and BenefitsThe rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour. The successful candidate will also be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
Training and DevelopmentThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive training and development in areas such as safeguarding adults, moving and handling, food hygiene, and first aid.
TransportationThe successful candidate will require a full UK driving license and access to their own personal car.
