Our goal is to empower and enable our service users to increase their confidence in making better decisions, providing them with the resources and opportunity to create a better life for themselves.

Supporting individuals to achieve their goals can be rewarding and you can make a real difference to somebody's life.

This is the perfect role for a resilient, compassionate, non-judgmental person who wants to support others to make positive changes within their lives, the service and the recovery community.


Responsibilities:

It's often challenging and overwhelming for the people we support to make changes in their lives. You can help by donating your time as a recovery support volunteer.

Our goal is to empower and enable our service users to increase their confidence in making better decisions, providing them with the resources and opportunity to create a better life for themselves.


Volunteers will also have the opportunity to gain other skills and support the team by covering the duty volunteer rota.

This involves being in the office undertaking light office tasks, photocopying, assisting with phone calls and greeting service users/guests on arrival.

Taking basic information for referrals and forwarding to the appropriate staff member.


It can take time for our service users to engage and trust in you, so consistency, patience and resilience is key to the role.

The environments you may work in can be varied and challenging; but can offer a unique and interesting experience. You will be provided with all the skills, training and support you need to undertake the role.

Supporting individuals to achieve their goals can be rewarding and you can make a real difference to somebody's life.
