Job PurposenAs the Sales Director, you will lead our sales performance and account management strategy within F+R's wealth management segment.


Accountable for the continuous development of the team managing and growing F+R's most valuable clients as the single most important driver of market growth.

Ownership for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of sales executives in the UK market.

You will be confident in providing robust and timely sales and product reporting and market insight to senior management.nThis role will collaborate closely with local management heads and C-suite executives to drive growth and excellence across our global operations.

Upholding and driving F+R brand values is paramount.


Key ResponsibilitiesnDevelop and nurture a high-performance sales culture that motivates and drives the team to exceed targets.nRetain, reactivate, and acquire customers through initiatives and a qualitative approach to service and communication.nImplement best practices and innovative sales strategies to achieve competitive advantage.nDesign and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance service levels and customer satisfaction.nRegularly review and refine KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.nFoster positive and productive relationships across different functions within the organization to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.nLead initiatives to improve inter-departmental processes and communication.

Provide regular, insightful reports to the C-suite, detailing sales performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.nAct as a key point of contact between the sales team and executive leadership.nCollaborate with finance and other departments to develop and manage annual sales budgets.nEnsure that sales operations are within budget and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI.nSet and enforce clear, high standards for customer service to ensure an exceptional client experience.nRegularly review service standards and make necessary adjustments to meet evolving customer expectations.


Knowledge, Skills + ExpertisenExtensive track record of developing and leading a high-performing sales team within a global luxury retail environment alongside managing your own sales target (preferably in the fine wine industry).nPassionate, energetic leader with an enthusiastic and engaging approach to delivering success.nCommercially astute and confident in providing forecasts, budgets, and comprehensive reporting to the leadership and C-Suite teams.nSolutions-driven approach to solving issues and problems.nStrong commercial communicator, transparent, and understands the importance of quality reporting and managing upwards.nStrong analytical skills, confident in running reports, translating data, and providing insights to make business-critical decisions.nProven experience in managing and developing key client relationships, as well as demonstrating strong commercial performance over the long term.nExceptional communications skills, both internally and externally, with clients at all levels.nThe ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment and able to handle change and work to tight deadlines.nDriven and ambitious individual who is motivated by achieving outstanding results.nProven experience in developing sales processes, CRM management, and achieving targets.nGood working knowledge of using CRM systems (preferably HubSpot).nExtensive product knowledge and market experience in fine wine, with WSET level 4 or above.
