What is the role of a Healthcare Support Worker at UHBW?

In order to undertake this role you must have:
(please note you will not be shortlisted if you do not meet the criteria):

  • You must be able to work a minimum of 3 long shifts per week, on a 24/7 rota (no fixed shifts)


You will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of the highest standard of quality care to our patients, working alongside registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Your role will include a wide range of tasks, from providing personal and intimate care to undertaking clinical observations. You will be required to follow stringent policies such as infection control and manual handling policies. In addition you will be providing emotional and practical support to patient & their families.
