Meraki Talent's client is currently looking for an AVP to join their business within the Valuation Control team.

Our client is a prominent Global Banking organisation which has made a sizable commitment to growing their campus in Scotland.

Due to ongoing growth and development an AVP role has been created within Valuation Control.

Within Product Control the team are responsible for the integrity of the books and records for the trading business. Valuations Control forms part of Product Control and are aligned regionally.

Product Control Valuations is a control function responsible for provision of independent oversight of the fair values associated with the firm's trading portfolio.


Key outcomes as a Vice President:

  • Leadership role within Valuation Control covering Equities, Credit, Macro, Cross Markets, Treasury
  • Ownership of intramonth price testing to consensus, exchange, broker or other data of pricing inputs and model outputs for fair value positions across asset classes
  • Point of contact for the business on valuation and modelling issues
  • Reporting and escalation of price testing results with Front Office and Senior Management
  • Lead role in regional and global projects related to the function
  • Creating solutions and improvements to IPV process
  • Leadership of small team


For this role we are seeking a career-minded individual who has a good understanding of investment bank products and an appreciation of valuation concepts.

This experience could have been gained in a Product/Financial Control style Finance role or in a specific Valuations/Asset Pricing environment.
