We are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Improvement Operative to join our Estate Improvement Team.

You will be working to keep our neighbourhoods clean, safe and well-maintained for our tenants, providing a customer-focused neighbourhood service across different departments at Saxon Weald, working as one team.


You will deliver timely estate inspections for all sites (West Sussex, East Sussex & Hampshire etc.), ensuring rubbish and dumped items are cleared, fire risks are mitigated, contractor performance is reported, and health and safety checks are carried out.

The role will involve a mix of working on your own and as part of a 2-person team.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold a full UK driving license
    (category B licence required):
  • Have experience and be comfortable with driving a van
  • Have experience carrying out minor repair works
  • Be competent in using a tablet/mobile device for work
  • Be able to carry and manoeuvre heavy items
  • Demonstrate behaviours that align with our values.
