Poole, Poole, United Kingdom Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable clinician for the role of Digital Clinical Transformation Lead, Band 7 for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Services.

This 24 month fixed term post of 37.5 hours per week is within the Digital Clinical Team which is part of the Trust's Digital Services.

We are looking for an experienced clinician working within a mental health or learning disabilities specialty who also has a keen interest in record keeping, digital transformation and service development.

A knowledge of clinical and team processes together with the ability to facilitate change is essential. You will be organised, attentive to detail and have good digital skills.

You will take a key role in the use of digital solutions with clinicians and operational teams to promote consistency, reporting directly to the Digital Clinical Lead for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.

You will work with IT colleagues, clinical teams, suppliers, clinical administration leads, and information / business teams to redesign processes and implement technologies to support change.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the expanding Digital Clinical Team (IM&T/Digital Services) to provide a focus on how to best implement and benefit from digital technologies.

As Digital Clinical Transformation Lead you will work collaboratively with Trust colleagues and our wider partners to:

Provide clinical advice and guidance, working collaboratively with nursing, and Allied Health Practitioner leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure the appropriate, consistent and successful use of integrated digital systems.

Plan, support and manage activities that enable staff to understand and adapt to change at a local level to maximise benefit from the use of digital systems.

Manage delivery of digital transformation, supporting clinical teams to identify, report on and monitor benefits and risks related to clinicians' use of digital systems and information technologies.

Work across health, social and voluntary services to ensure benefits and opportunities of feature rich digital systems and structured data are maximised whilst adhering to Caldicott principles and statutory information sharing protocols.

Think calmly and logically under pressure and have a positive attitude to maintaining high standards at all times.

Be quick to learn, be able to work as part of a team and also possess the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative and direct the work of others.

You will be required to communicate with a wide range of disciplines and possess an aptitude for negotiation and persuasion.
