A reputable company in Lancaster is seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong financial acumen and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the endtoend credit control process, including the pursuit of outstanding debts, reconciliation of accounts, and ensuring adherence to credit policies.
  • Assess and mitigate credit risks by establishing appropriate credit limits and terms.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve payment discrepancies, negotiate payment plans, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to optimize invoicing procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on debtor status and contribute insights for financial planning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
  • Sound knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
