What your day to day job role would look like:

  • Providing care and support/encouragement to our young people
  • Helping our young people with daily activities and essential life skills
  • Managing challenging behaviours, implementing psychological strategies to help the young person keep themselves safe and grow and flourish within themselves
  • Going on daily activities with our young people to promote independence and fulfilment
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and enjoyable environment for staff and sour young people
  • Communicate effectively with young people and fellow staff member
  • Maintaining up to date documentation

  • Counselling/ specialist training seminars for staff on a weekly basis

A

  • Experience (personal or professional) looking after individuals with severe behavioural and/or learning needs
  • Experience with challenging behaviours
  • Certified DBS ideally online system
