About the Support Worker
role:
We're looking for a Support Worker who wants to make a real difference by joining a team that takes a refreshing approach to care.
Support Worker , you will maintain high standards of service, design personalised support plans, provide emotional support and help residents to live a full, active life both at home and in the community.
This will include going out for activities such as music concerts, football games, fun fairs, meals out and holidays etc.
You will be based primarily at our Barnes Court
project with occasional travel to our neighbouring project, both of which provide 24-hour care for adults with learning and physical disabilities.
You will be expect to work on a rota basis including some sleep-in shifts and every other weekend.
Skills and experience of our ideal Support Worker :
A caring, patient nature
The ability to follow instruction
A willingness and desire to develop
Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
Full driving licence
