Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity at St Bartholomew's Hospital, within The Outpatient department to join as The Band 4 Supervisor (Admin).

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has good interpersonal skills. This is a management role and the successful candidate will lead the Outpatient Reception teams, whilst being a part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to work in conjunction with the Outpatient Senor Supervisor and Managers to ensure Outpatient clinics run smoothly on a day to day basis handling issues as they arise reporting in real time.

The candidate will deal with patient complaints and concerns, resolving locally where possible, and where this is not possible ensuring the appropriate process is followed and documented.

Work closely with The Outpatient Senior Supervisor and Management team to implement quality standards and standard operating procedures.

The successful candidate will need to be a flexible team player who can manage a varied workload to meet set targets and changing deadlines

They must be able to work within a confidential environment and adhere to Information Governance procedures.

Computer literacy is essential as the successful candidate will be expected to input, extract and compile complex information from our booking systems.
