Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity at St Bartholomew's Hospital, within The Outpatient department to join as The Band 4 Supervisor (Admin).

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has good interpersonal skills. This is a management role and the successful candidate will lead the Outpatient Reception teams, whilst being a part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will work with the Outpatient Senior Supervisor and Managers to ensure clinics run smoothly on a day-to-day basis handling issues as they arise in real time.

The candidate will deal with patient complaints and concerns, resolving locally where possible, and ensuring the appropriate process is followed and documented when necessary.

Work closely with The Outpatient Senior Supervisor and Management team to implement quality standards and standard operating procedures.

The successful candidate will need to be a flexible team player who can manage a varied workload to meet set targets and changing deadlines.

They must work within a confidential environment and adhere to Information Governance procedures.

Computer literacy is essential as the successful candidate will input, extract, and compile complex information from booking systems.
