Outpatient Department Receptionist

We are seeking a skilled and organized Receptionist to join our Outpatient Department team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients, relatives, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities- Provide professional receptionist support to our outpatient clinics, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
- Manage patient appointments, including checking in and out patients for face-to-face and virtual appointments.
- Assist patients with appointment queries, schedule follow-up appointments, and add patients to waitlists.
- Collaborate with outpatient supervisors and support colleagues in different clinical reception areas.
- Cash up outstanding clinics using InTouch and CRS systems.
- Good level of general education and numerate and literate skills.
- Excellent team working, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Good telephone manner and ability to work confidentially.
- Desirable: computer skills, organizational skills, and knowledge of the health service and related services.
