We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Nurse to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leading the nursing team in our Outpatient Department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients, children, and young people in our Outpatient Department
- Lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring excellent patient care and outcomes
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and treatment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies and plans
- Registered Nurse Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register (Paediatric trained/Registered)
- Accredited teaching course
- Nursing degree
- Post-registration nursing experience at band 6
- Experience of supporting healthcare assistants
- Experience of informal/formal teaching with patients and staff
- Experience of running nurse-led clinics
- Phlebotomy skills
