Flying Start Health Visitor Vacancy for 30 hours in Conwy area, Band 6 Fixed Term Contract until 31/03/2025.

This position is fixed term/secondment for 10 months to align with service needs.

To apply for the secondment, prior permission from your current manager is necessary.

The Health Board provides Induction Course, Clinical Supervision, and support from the Safeguarding Children Team, along with in-house training opportunities.

Welsh speaking ability is preferred but not mandatory; English speakers are encouraged to apply as well.

Main Duties of the Job

Exciting opportunity for a Health Visitor to join the Flying Start Health Visiting Service in Conwy area, North Wales. Seeking a proactive team player with strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with a multi-agency team for the Welsh Assembly Government initiative.

Managing a caseload, conducting group and community work to tackle Health inequalities with a skilled team. Assessing needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care programs for families and individuals.

Requirements include a degree in Health Visiting or currently enrolled in SCPHN Health Visiting course, NMC registration, and nurse prescribing qualification. Preferably experienced but newly qualified also considered.
