Childrens Social Care is looking for a dynamic and driven Commissioning Officer who has an ambition to ensure that children, young people and their families receive the right quality of provision, at the right time, with the right service, making best use of our resources available.

The Commissioning Officer will support the Strategic Commissioners with their planning, commissioning and performance monitoring for Childrens Social Care


The Childrens Commissioning team play a key role in co-designing and co-commissioning innovative, safe outcome focussed solutions with our Children's social care colleagues.

This role requires an understanding of the strength based approach and placed based commissioning and includes working with partners across all health and social care,

This is a permanent post working within an Ofsted Outstanding Local Authority.
